Dr. Olatokunbo Awolowo Dosumu, born on February 20, 1948, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, is a distinguished medical practitioner, diplomat, administrator, and the youngest daughter of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, SAN GCFR, and Yeye Oodua H.I.D. Awolowo, CON.

She began her education at UMC Demonstration School in Ibadan (1953–1958) and attended St. Anne's School, Ibadan (1959–1963). She furthered her studies in the United Kingdom at Felixstone College, Suffolk (1964–1966), and earned her medical degree from the University of Bristol (1966–1972). She later specialized in occupational health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (1978–1979).

Dr. Awolowo Dosumu's medical career includes roles as House Officer and Senior House Officer at the University College Hospital, Ibadan (1972–1974), Lecturer II at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (1974–1975), and Medical Officer at the Nigerian Ports Authority (1975–1978). She also served as a Medical Officer with the Clifton Clinics Group from 1979.

In 1992, she co-founded the Obafemi Awolowo Foundation, a non-profit research organization dedicated to national development, where she continues to serve as Executive Director. From 2000 to 2003, she was Nigeria's Ambassador to the Netherlands, representing the country at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), and the Common Fund for Commodities (CFC).

Dr. Awolowo Dosumu has held several notable positions, including Chair of the Board of Management at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (2013–2015), member of the 2014 National Constitutional Conference representing the South West zone, and current Chairman of African Newspapers of Nigeria PLC, publishers of the Tribune titles.

She has received various chieftaincy titles, such as Yeye Onibudo of Ifẹ, Iya Ewe of Our Saviour’s Anglican Church, Ikẹnnẹ, and Asiwaju Obinrin Onigbagbọ of Ogun State. Her awards include Outstanding Contribution to Human Development by NAWOJ Oyo State and the Kwame Nkrumah Award for Service to Pan Africanism by Babcock University and the University of Texas, Austin.
